About us

Tommy Plummer Tree Services Ltd. was established in 2007 and is fully insured for Public and Product Liability to £5 million. Our teams provide the highest level of arboricultural contracting services, and consultancy, for both domestic and commercial clients. We provide free quotations and expert advice and always recommend the best course of action for the long-term future of your trees.

Tommy himself has gained an honours degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, and holds both a National Diploma in Arboriculture and a Royal Forestry Society: Professional Diploma in Arboriculture. He is a Professional member of the Arboricultural Association, an associate member of the Consulting Arborist Society, and holds a Lantra qualification in Professional Tree Inspection.


Over the years we have undertaken hundreds of projects.

Some larger projects include:

  • designing and executing a woodland management plan for a woodland protected by a woodland Tree Preservation Order
  • writing a Risk Assessment and management plan for all trees at North Luffenham primary school
  • dismantling twelve 80 year old Western Red Cedars in the churchyard of Witham on the Hill.

Smaller projects include:

  • felling a 20’ tall Lawson’s Cypress in Uppingham
  • trimming a Beech hedge in Irnham
  • planting a Eucalyptus tree in Empingham.
