    • Bachelor of Science, Honours Degree in Biochemistry. Class 2 Level 1 (2:1). University of Edinburgh 1999-2003. [National Qualification Framework (NQF) Level 6]
    • A biological science course specialising in a pure biochemistry elective. Relevant learning includes biomechanics, environmental and community biology (including land-use management, ecosystems, conservation management, biological controls of pests/pathogens), plants/fungi and symbiosis
  • Dip. Arb (RFS)
    • Royal Forestry Society/ABC Professional Diploma in Arboriculture. (Passed  Sept. 2011). Tutored by TreeLife, Syston 2009-2010. [NQF level 6]
    • A professional qualification covering all aspects of consulting on tree management.
